This talk examines the future of education in the context of artificial intelligence through an ethical, political, and human-centered lens. It explores institutional approaches to responsible AI governance, emerging models of technology education for ethical leadership, and the role of philanthropy—drawing on initiatives such as the Northwestern Center for Responsible Technology, Policy, and Public Dialogue and the Spencer Foundation—to ensure that AI strengthens democratic and humanistic values in education.
