Paul LeBlanc is author of a new book, Broken: How Our Social Systems Are Failing Us and How We Can Fix Them, which starts with the question of why so many of our scaled social systems come to dehumanize the very people they are supposed to lift up. Paul spent a year interviewing innovators rethinking the work of K-12 education, healthcare, mental health and substance abuse treatment, criminal justice, and post-secondary education, as well as psychologists and sociologists. He will share what he learned, offer new innovative models for systems of care, and reflect on the lessons for leaders. Broken is a nominee for the Next Big Idea Book Club.
